The Vikings took the advantage in the bottom of the eighth, holding on for the 3-2 win.
Rhodes notched 11 hits in the outing, opposed to its opponents seven. Kilkenny and
Will Gietema led the way with three hits apiece, supported by a pair of base knocks from
Justin Genter and
Walker McWherter.
Blake Glauben threw all eight innings for the Lynx, striking out four batters and only walking three.
The Lynx face off against the winner of the Centre College/Oglethorpe University matchup today at 7 p.m.
