MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes junior
Symone Daniels earned her second Southern Athletic Association Player of the Week title for the season.
Daniels led the No. 24/25 ranked Lynx to their fifth consecutive win over Westminster College (Mo.), 66-52 on Dec. 8 in Fulton, Mo. The 5-10 forward scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed a season high 13 rebounds as the Lynx improved to 7-1 on the season. For the game Daniels was 13-of-22 from the field, including a flawless tree-for-three effort from beyond the three point line. The junior currently leads the Southern Athletic Association in scoring average at 18.3 points per contest.
Rhodes will be back in action on Dec. 18 against Southwestern University at 2 p.m.
