DECATUR, Ga. – Rhodes women's soccer picked up a bounce back win on Sunday over Agnes Scott, 3-0.
 
The Lynx boast an 8-2 record while the Scotties fall to 2-5.
 
The Lynx drew their first strike from Hunter Tilton when she finished a header from Heidi Press to take the 1-0 lead in the 26th minute, a score Rhodes would take into the halftime break.
 
Hannah Selner connected early to start the second half in the 47th minute from a Kelsey Keown set up making the tally 2-0 in the Lynx favor. The final goal of the contest came from first-year Kaeli Rives who earned her first collegiate goal as a Lynx, making the final count 3-0.
 
Two goalies saw time for the Lynx with Allison Cowling earning 65 minutes of play, and Chandler Kuhlman picking up 25 minutes in goal.
 
Rhodes overwhelmed Agnes Scott, outshooting the Scotties 32-2. The Lynx were also awarded more corner attempts by a margin of 14-0.
 
Rhodes will continue their road stretch with its conference opener at Birmingham Southern College on Oct. 10 at 4:30.
