MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes soccer used goals from Hannah Selner and Elise Grisoni to defeat Austin College 2-0 on Friday in non-conference play.
 
The win keeps the hot streak alive for the Lynx, moving them to 4-1 on the season while Austin College falls to 2-4.
 
The Lynx scored both of their goals in the first half of play. Selner scored the first goal in the 22nd minute unassisted. Eight minutes later Gisoni turned a Kelsey Sweeney assist into the second Lynx goal.
 
Rhodes outshot the Roo's by a margin of 18-4 with 10 of their shots being on goal. Rhodes won more corner kicks as well with a tally of 8-2
 
Allsion Cowling got the win for the contest, earning two saves in 90 minutes.
 
The Lynx will be back in action Saturday Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. as they face Dallas University at home.
