The Lynx offense answered with a 1 run in the 4th, 4 runs in the 5th and 2 more runs in the 6th while holding Millsaps scoreless over the the remaining frames. Due to the 8 run rule, game 1 was called in the 6th innings, Rhodes 10 - Millsaps 2.

Amber Hunt and
Danielle Smith all recorded multiple hits in the contest - Hunt and Brown both homered for the Lynx.
In game 2 the Lynx picked up where they left off, scoring 4 runs over the first 2 innings; but once again, the Majors answered pushing 4 of their own across to tie the score in the bottom of the 4th, 4-4. In the top of the 5th, Rhodes refocused their offensive efforts and put on a 2-out-rally clinic, scoring 3 runs and recapturing the lead, 7-3. After blanking Millsaps in the bottom half of the inning, the Lynx scored 5 more runs in the top of the 6th to increase the lead once again to 8. With the Majors unable to answer in the bottom of the frame, Rhodes again ended the contest early.
