The Lynx faced off against Washington and Lee and Maryville College on day 2 of the Maryville Invitational.   The Lynx lost in three sets to the Generals by the scores of 22-25, 21-25, 20-25.  Outside Hitter Meagan Mansfield and Right Side Lexie Krall combined for 17 kills in the match.

The Lynx picked up their first victory of the season in a five set thriller against host Maryville by the scores of 27-25, 25-27, 25-22, 24-26, 15-13.  Meagan  Mansfield led all attackers with 24 kills.  Freshman Middle Hitter Lauren Johnson made her collegiate debut adding 6 kills and 6 blocks.  Setters Michelle Quina and Becca Schmidt combined for 53 assists while Tasha Heller anchored the teams defense with 25 digs.  

The Lynx return to action next weekend when they participate in the Austin College Classic in Sherman, TX.
