Fontbonne University defeated the Lynx 2-0 on Sunday to win the Greg Volgas Memorial Tournamnet.
The Gorlocks scored 2 minutes into the match from a free kick that was driven into a bundle of players and found its way into the goal to give Fontonne the only goal they would need for the win. Fontbonne scored with 4 minutes left as the Lynx threw everything forward in an attempt to get the equalizer. The Lynx are 1-1 on the year and travel to Greenville College and Webster University this weekend.
