The Rhodes Volleyball team faced off against Millsaps College in their opening match of the SAA - Rhodes Classic.  The Lynx dropped the opening set by the score of 16-25, before roaring back to take the second set 25-22.  Unfortunately the Majors claimed the next two sets by the scores of 25-21 and 25-10.

Outside Hitter Meagan Mansfield led the team with 15 kills, which also put her at 1000 kills for her career at Rhodes.  Right Side Mollie Newbern was second on the team with 8 kills.

In the team's final match of the evening, the Lynx dropped a tough five set battle to Austin College by the scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-18, 18-25, 9-15.  Outside Hitter paced all hitters again with 20 kills while Middle Hitter Stephanie Renner added 8 kills and 4 blocks. Leah Washburn anchored the team's defense with 15 digs.
