The Rhodes College Lynx Lacrosse team had their first road contest of the 2012 season and battled against the host Huntingdon College, falling short in the end by a tally of 10-13. Junior
Hugh Madison led all scores with 6 goals, with teammates Van Roetry and
John Sanford tallying 2 goals a piece.
Senior Peter Hall added two assists offensively and Goalie
Carson Lewis came off the bench to add 8 saves. Lynx Head Coach Dave Zazarro said about the game: "The team is really improving and today was a great example of that. We played with good intensity for 4 quarters.
David Dorris had a great defensive effort and
Hugh Madison time and time again made big goals.".
The Lynx will start SCAC play in March 24th, as they travel to Millsaps College for their next contest.
