The Rhodes Men's Lacrosse team fell in a very competitive SCAC regular season game against host Southwestern University (TX), by a score of 3-7.
The Lynx started off the first game of their two-game Texas road trip on a high note, as at the end of the first quarter the score was tied 0-0 as the Lynx defense was able to shut down the Pirates advances at the goal.
Van Roerty led the team with 2 goals, while
John Sanford tallied a goal as well for the Lynx. Goalie
Carson Lewis got the start in the goal, and collected 8 saves. Head Coach
Dave Zazzaro had this to say about the game: "Tonight we play with moxie and it was our most complete team effort to date, we are getting better each game."
The Lynx will have a day of rest before taking on SCAC opponent the University of Dallas on Sunday April 1st at 1:00 PM.
