When the Lynx resumed play on a suspended 0-0 game from the previous day, it was Freshman
Forrest Skelton who again took the circle and continued the dominant performance she had started hours earlier. In seven innings of work Skelton allowed only one run, on three hits, while striking out 11 Viking batters.
The Lynx offense provided all three runs Skelton needed to earn the win in the bottom of the 5th inning. Senior

Megan Matthews from first base. Zomer, than on second base, would go on to score on an fielding error by the shortstop.
Forrest Skelton plated the innings third run on another double to deep center, this time by sophomore
Amber Hunt.
The win improved the Lynx to 3-1 on the season and dropped Berry to 1-3.
