#3 seed Women's soccer defeated #6 seed Berry College 3-0 in the 1st round of the SAA tournament.

Senior Betsy Peterson scored in the first 1:15 to give the Lynx the early lead. That would prove to be the only goal they needed on the evening. Berry created a great opportunity 10 minutes later, but junior goalkeeper Allison Cowling made a huge save on Berry's breakaway chance. The save was Cowling's only one of the night, and the team's 10th shutout.

Senior Paula Vasichko added an insurance goal in the 81st minute, and Peterson added her 2nd of the game in the 89th.

The Lynx will now face #2 seed Birmingham Southern in a semi-final match up at 2:30.
