Rhodes took a maximum of 6 SAA points as they complete the sweep in GA.

Women's soccer defeated Oglethorpe 2-0 in Atlanta, GA this afternoon. With the win, the Lynx increase their record to 8-3-1 and 2-1 in the SAA.

The 1st half contained all of the scoring in the match. The Lynx found the game winning goal half way through the half when Paula Vasichko headed in a cross from fellow senior Shannon Blair. Rhodes increased the lead 4 seconds before the break. Freshman Shannon Donelson scored on an assist from sophomore Kelsey Keown.

The 2nd half proved to contain near misses for the Lynx, but no goals.

Junior Allison Cowling made 2 saves for the Lynx and recorded her 8th shutout.

Rhodes held the advantage in shots 13 to 6, shots on goal 6 to 2, and corners 6 to 1.

The Lynx return to SAA action on Friday as they travel to Millsaps College. Game time is set for 5pm.
