The Rhodes Volleyball team faced off against Washington and Lee University and Rust College on Day 1 of the Rhodes SAA - Fall Break Classic.  The Lynx dropped a four set decision to the Generals by the scores of 19-25, 25-19, 17-25, 19-25 but rebounded for the win against Rust College by the scores of 25-23, 25-10, 25-23.

Against the Generals, Freshman Middle Blocker Lauren Johnson paced the Lynx with 10 kills hitting .714 for the match and added 3 blocks.  Libero Tasha Heller anchored the team's back row with 17 digs while Setters Michelle Quina and Ally Limmer totaled 41 assists for the Lynx.

Against Rust College, every member of the team found their way onto the court for a total team victory.  Freshman Haley Pryor and Leah Washburn combined for 13 kills to pace the team's offense while Meagan Mansfield and Tasha Heller combined for 7 of the team's 9 service aces.
