The Rhodes Lynx opened conference play today at home against Colorado with both teams coming out with full of intensity from kick off. The Lynx pressed on hard the very first 5 minutes of the match creating scoring opportunity but failed to capitalized on them.
After a hard fought first half, the score remained 0-0 at half time. It only took 13 minutes after the match resumed for the second half before the Lynx attack to find the back of the net. Freshman Forward
Jason Crutcher connected on a well placed cross in the box to find Sophmore Forward
Tyler Marshall who got on the end of the cross with a superb header in the 59th to put the Lynx ahead 1-0. Twenty minutes later Senior Forward

Eric Ly's goal to give the Lynx a commanding 2-0 lead. Colorado College didn't give up just in the match as Matt Fechter pull one back for Colorado College in the 81 minute. Two minutes later Fechter once again scored his second goal to equalize for Colorado College the score was now 2-2 after 90 minutes of play. Colorado College pressed the Lynx very hard in the first period of over time but the Lynx's defense was inpenetrable. After the first period of OT, the score remained 2-2.
