The Lynx suffered their first loss in two weeks with a 2-1 decision against Centre College on Friday afternoon.  Getting on the board midway through the first half, freshmen forward Kat Simpson found the stick of Sarah Ferguson to notch Rhodes only score of the game.  Quick to answer back, the Colonels countered just one minute later.  The game remained tied at one apiece for most of regulation, until Centre found a seam in the Lynx defense and slipped in a late goal with only 34 seconds on the clock.  A strong defensive effort by goalkeeper Jordan Robinson thwarted several Centre attempts, with Regan McLaughlin also coming up big for the Lynx in the backfield.  Sarah Ferguson had a stellar performance in the midfield generating multiple scoring opportunities for the Lynx.  Rhodes will travel to Sewanee this Sunday afternoon for another SCAC match-up.
