The Kangaroos of Austin College defeated the Lynx 2-1 to maintain a record of 4-1-2 while the Lynx are now 1-4. Austin College took the lead just 5 minutes into the match through Chris Melton's strike from the top of the box from a poor clearence by the Lynx's defense. The half ended 1-0 to Austin College. The Lynx responded with an equalizing goal from Frenshman Jason Crutcher in the 50th minute. Austin College took a 2-1 lead with a goal by Melton again assisted by Edwin Cole. The Lynx pushed for another equalizing goal but come up short. Goal keeper Chandler Schneider recorded 2 saves in the match.

The Lynx are back in action at Principia College this Friday at 7pm.
