Despite controlling possession and pressing hard the entire first half the Lynx found themselves down 1-0 at half time to a Hendrix team that scored on their only shot of the half on a goal with Maggie Despain with the assist coming from Erika Jasso.  After some half time adjustments the Lynx came out strong, tying the game on a penalty corner score by Katie Faucher on an assist from Sarah Kennedy.  Faucher notched two more goals on the day including the game winner just four minutes after her first goal.  Taylor Mills scored the Lynx third goal with strong, low play in the goal mouth while captain Chelsea McLeod found the back of the cage with five minutes to play for the Lynx final score.  The Lynx scored four of their five goals on penalty corner plays.  The defense held strong today with great efforts from Sara Sanders and Sam Anscher in the middle of the field.  Rhodes held a 14-6 advantage in penalty corner opportunities and a 16-5 advantage in shots.  The Lynx (3-2, 1-0 SCAC) will take on Transylvania (2-3) at home next Sunday at 11 am.
