The #4 seed Rhodes College ended their 2011 season with a loss to #1 seed and #3 Trinity University in the SCAC Semi-Finals.  The Lynx finished the 2011 campaign 10-7-2.
Trinity scored in the 4th minute and the 37th minute to put the Lynx down 2-0 at half.  Before halftime the Lynx looked like they would be able to pull a goal back, but they could not convert their chances.  Senior Laura Flink sent a free kick across the Tiger goal, but after a couple of shots on goal Trinity was able to clear the danger. 
Early in the 2nd half the Lynx created another quality scoring chance, but Flink pushed the ball wide of the Trinity goal.  In the 75th minute Trinity scored again as the Lynx pushed numbers forward to score goals.  In the end the game finished 5-0.
Senior Stephanie Sermonet made 9 saves for the Lynx.

Trinity advanced to the SCAC final where they defeated Centre College 4-0 for the SCAC crown.
