The Rhodes Volleyball team finished 1-1 on opening day of the Rhodes Spookfest.   The team defeated Mississippi College in four sets to open up the event while losing in three sets to Hardin Simmons University.

Against Mississsippi College, the Lynx were led by Outside Hitters Claire Warren and Meagan Mansfield who combined for 23 kills.  Mansfield also anchored the team's defense with 28 digs while adding 4 service aces.  Middle Blockers Stephanie Renner and Erin Lowrance combined for 11 blocks.   Setters Nicole McAlvany and Michelle Quina each had 19 assists for the team. 

After honoring Seniors Claire Warren and Olivia Wells prior to the start of the Hardin Simmons match for their contributions to the program, the team was unable to secure a victory against Hardin Simmons.  Claire Warren led the team with 7 kills and 14 digs.
