The Rhodes Volleyball dropped both matches on the opening day of the SCAC Central Pod hosted by Hendrix College.  The team lost to Millsaps College in a five set marathon while dropping their second match in four sets to the 13th ranked Tigers of Colorado College.

The match against Millsaps was an exact duplicate of the teams first match a couple of weeks ago in Colorado Springs except Millsaps came out on top by the score of 17-15 in the fifth set.  Claire Warren led the Lynx with 22 kills and 26 digs.  Lexie Krall and Olivia Wells combined fro 26 kills while Libero Maraia Tremarelli earned another 30 dig performance on the season. 

The Lynx took the opening set against Colorado College before dropping the next three sets including  a 25-27 second set heartbreaker.  Meagan Mansfield led the team with 11 kills and 7 service aces.  Freshman Mollie Newbern anchored the team's defense with 4 blocks.
