The Lynx picked up a crucial win over conference rival Sewanee in a physical match. The Lynx were out played in the first half to all 50-50 challenges. Even though the Lynx were out play by Sewanee in the first half, the Lynx always had a nose for the goal. Freshmen Midfielder

Will Wurster on a corner kick ,and the Senior Forward didn't waste the chance in front of goal. Will out jumped the Sewanee defense and gave a commanding 2-0 lead to the Lynx with a powerful header. Sewanee pressed on hard trying to pull one goal back but the Lynx defense lead by
Will Cooner was solid. Any thing that came close to the Lynx back line, the Junior defender was there to make sure they was no danger.
Will Cooner was the man of the match and with his leadership on the field. His leadership and solid display in the match helped the Lynx come away with a massive win.
The Lynx travel to face Millsaps on Saturday October 29th with kick off scheduled at 7pm.
