Rhodes held #14 Christopher Newport University scoreless for the first 15 minutes of play as well as the last 34 minutes in Saturday's neutral site game in Boston, MA.  The Captains' Caitlin Cahill scored with just under 20 minutes to play in the first half but the Lynx countered immediately with a goal by junior Katie Faucher (Jefferson, MA) to tie the game.  The score was knotted for just 10 minutes before CNU's Cahill scored her scored goal which proved to be the game winner.  The Captains went on to sneak one by goalkeeper Jordan Robinson just before halftime as well as the fourth CNU goal which was scored just a minute into the second half.  Rhodes' Sara Sanders had an incredible effort on defense and goalkeeper Jordan Robinson notched 16 saves.  The Lynx (6-5) will finish their fall break road trip with a game versus SUNY New Paltz at Trinity (Hartford, CT) on Monday at 7 pm.
