The Lynx would score early and often as they defeated SCAC foe Oglethorpe University 11-1 in Memphis. Freshmen
Delaney Bracken scored the first 3 goals for the Lynx in the 7th minute, 9th minute, and then completed the hat trick in the 19th minute. Bracken could have had the hat trick earlier but her header was cleared off the line by a Stormy Petrel defender. Senior
Ashley Ladd added a hat trick of her own with the next three goals in the 20th minute, 21st minute, and the 23rd minute. Ladd was assisted by senior

Breanna Durbin scored the 7th goal for the Lynx off of a corner kick from junior
Paula Vasichko. Junior
Mae Casey rounded out the scoring in the first half in the 32nd Minute. The Lynx cruised into half time with the 8-0 lead.
The 2nd half began with more of the same as junior
Betsy Peterson drove down the goal line and slotted a ball to freshmen Emily Watson who turned and fired the ball into the back of the net. In the 69th minute the Lynx lost their shutout off an own goal. Oglethorpe served in a corner kick and the deflected clearance found the back of the net. In the 81st minute Casey was back on the scorer's sheet as she finished her 2nd goal of the day from freshman
Taylor Weidow. In the 89th minute Peterson scored the final goal for the Lynx off of an assist from Casey.
The Lynx placed 21 of 38 shots on goal, while Oglethorpe had 4 of 6 shots on goal. Senior

Allison Cowling split time in goal making 3 saves. Elia Breijo made 9 saves for Oglethorpe.
The Lynx return to action on Sunday when they host Birmingham Southern College. Kickoff is set for noon.
