The Rhodes Men's Soccer team came out fighting against #25 Oglethorpe University to take a 1-0 lead into halftime but couldn't hold on as The Strormy Petrels fought back to secure a 2-1 come from behind victory at Rhodes on friday. Senior Will Wurster set up fellow Senior Christian Kurth for his 2nd goal of the year to put the Lynx up 1-0 in the 23rd minute. 10 minutes into the 2nd half a questionable penalty was called aginst Kurth in the box and Oglethorpe's Jakub Madej buried his spot kick to tie the game at 1-1. In the 86th minute Madej got through on a breakawy to get his second of the game and the eventual game winner as Oglethorpe held on to keep thier SCAC record perfect at 5-0-0. Rhodes drops to 1-3-1. The Lynx are back in action at home Sunday at 2:00pm against Birmingham Southern University.
