On Day 2 of the SCAC Central-West Divisional, the Lynx lost to host Southwestern University in three straight sets by the scores of 20-25, 26-28, 21-25. The Lynx were ahead in sets two and three but were unable to finish off either set for a win. Outside Hitter Meagan Mansfield led the Lynx with 9 kills while Freshmen Stephanie Renner added 3 blocks for the Lynx. 

In the team's final match up of the tournament, the Lynx dropped another five set heartbreaker this time to Birmingham Southern. Rhodes lost the first set 23-25, won the next two by the scores of 25-17, 25-18 before dropping the last two sets 23-25 and 6-15. Freshmen Stephanie Renner led the team with 8 blocks, while Kayla McCrury and Nicole McAlvany combined for 11 service aces.
