The Lynx field hockey team improved to 4-1 today on a win at Transylvania in Lexington, KY. Rhodes jumped off to a strong start with
Lindsey Gurkovich scoring less than 3 minutes into play to earn the game winning goal unassisted on a penalty corner play. Rhodes went on the win the game 10-1 led by a hat trick from junior
Taylor Mills. Six Lynx scored with other goals coming from sophomore
Katie Faucher, senior
Libby Feaster, and juniors
Chelsea McLeod and
Libby Jones.

Hillary Relyea,
Katie Faucher,
Charlie Wagner, and
Libby Jones picked up assists on the day.
Kelly Prak had an outstanding defensive save for the Lynx late in the game. Rhodes faces Centre tomorrow at noon in Danville, KY.
