Danville, KY - Rhodes improved to 3-1 on the season today with a 1-0 shut out over Kenyon.  The Lynx controlled play from the start but the Ladies pressed on to create a more evenly matched game in the second half of play.  The lone goal scored was by junior Sarah Kennedy on an assist from Charlie Wagner on a penalty corner play.  The goal came approximately 10 minutes into play and the Lynx were able to hang on for the win despite pressure from Kenyon throughout the second half.  The Rhodes defense played strong with great efforts put forth by Marie Mason, Sara Sanders, and goalkeeper Jordan Robinson, who notched 7 saves on the day.  The Lynx out shot the Ladies 21-9 and held a 7-6 advantage in penalty corner opportunities.  The Lynx return to Kentucky next weekend to face Transylvania and Centre, Saturday and Sunday, both games begin at noon.
