Saturday night, November 27th, the Lynx lost to Piedmont College (GA) in the first round of the Rhodes Thanksgiving Tournament, 74 - 65.  After a slow start, the Lynx settled in and only trailed by 3 at the intermission; 30 - 33.  Andrew Galow led the Lynx in the first half with 11 points and 2 assists.

In the second half, the Lynx got behind by 12 with 12:00 minutes remaining.  One inspired effort remained for the Lynx as they cut the deficit to 1 (56-57) with 4:21 left in the game.  However, the comeback was not to be as the Lynx fell to the Piedmont Lions 74-65.

The Lynx were paced by Sophomore Andrew Galow and Freshman Luke Gorman posting 16 and 15 points respectively.  The Lions of Piedmont College had four players in double figures, including their leading scorer Mike Ross with 24 points.

Rhodes will be in action again Sunday afternoon, November 28th, against Rust College at 3pm.
