In a game where the scoreline does not justify how the game was played, Rhodes drops a heartbreaker to DePauw 3-0 in Greencastle, Indiana. Rhodes played very well, making DePauw defend for a good portion of the first half; however the Lynx could not capitalize on their opportunities and the game went into the half with the score knotted at 0-0. The beginning of the 2nd half looked much like the first until a questionable penalty kick call in the 59th minute gave DePauw the 1-0 lead. Rhodes was not deterred, and fought back, continuing to create chances in the offensive third. After pushing numbers forward to try to get the equalizer, DePauw scored 2 late goals in the final 10 minutes to secure the 3-0 win. Rhodes drops to 4-4-3 on the season and 1-3 in the SCAC. The Lynx travel to Centre College on Sunday for their next SCAC match up.
