The Lady Lynx come out on top once again, defeating the Hendrix Warriors 1-0. Rhodes' leading scorer, Lindsey Gurkovich, came head-to-head with Hendrix goalkeeper, Alyssa Havens in a 1-on-1. Gurkovich proved too speedy for Havens scoring the game's lone goal in the first half. Havens played well for the Warriors having 13 saves on the day. Sarah Dockery notched 8 saves capturing her fifth shutout of the year. Charlie Wagner and Marie Mason maintained composure controlling play through out the middle. Both teams allowed 12 penalty corners  with 23 shots from Rhodes and only 10 from Hendrix. Not only does the win conclude the Lynx regular season, it also marks the first time Rhodes has gone 8-0 within the conference . Rhodes' Seniors were also honored today for their outstanding careers as lady Lynx field hockey members. The Rhodes'  team will try to recapture their conference championship title next weekend in Greencastle, IN.
