On a rainy Sunday Rhodes took down the Tigers 4-0 with
Libby Jones leading the way with two assists.
Regan McLaughlin led the Lynx defense which has given up only two goals in the past six games.
Charlie Wagner scored the game winning goal on a penalty stroke in the first half while
Libby Feaster had an unassisted score off the goalkeeper's pads early in the second half tp put the Lynx up 2-0. The final two scores were both on penalty corner plays, one a direct shot by
Libby Jones tipped in by Gurkovich and the second also a shot from
Libby Jones with a tip in from
Sarah Kennedy.
Sara Sanders controlled marking in the backfield and helped goalkeeper
Jordan Robinson notch the win with six saves. Rhodes out shot Sewanee 12-6 and held a 10-8 advantage in penalty corner opportunities. The Lynx (14-1. 7-0 SCAC) play Hendrix at home on Saturday at 1 pm.
