The Lynx Volleyball team picked up two more wins on the season with victories against Sewanee and Oglethorpe on the first day of SCAC East-Central Divisional play.  The Lynx defeated Sewanee in three straight sets by the scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.  Rhodes defeated tournament host Oglethorpe University in three straight sets as well by the scores of 25-9, 25-23, 25-18.

Sophomores Anna Fitzgerald and  Lauren Young led the Lynx with 5 kills each versus Sewanee while Outside Hitter Meagan Mansfield led the team with 6 service aces.  Freshman Middle Blocker Stephanie Renner led all blockers with 4 in the match.

In the team's final match of the day, Outside Hitter Claire Warren led the Lynx with 8 kills and 25 digs.  Right Side Attacker Lexie Krall led the team in blocks with 4 total.  

The team returns to action tomorrow morning to face off against Centre College and Birmingham Southern College.
