Sarah Kennedy scored the game winning goal for the Lynx today with 12:55 to play in the first half on an assist from
Katie Faucher. Rhodes went on to score an early second half goal by
Lindsey Gurkovich on a
Libby Jones assist to seal the win. The Lynx controlled possession and dominated play for the majority of the game.
Charlie Wagner,
Marie Mason, and
Regan McLaughlin all had standout games as did sweeper
Sara Sanders who stopped many DePauw chances.
Sarah Dockery earned the shutout with 4 saves on the day. Rhodes out shot DePauw 16-5 and held a 7-6 advantage in penalty corner opportunities. The game was the first time DePauw's potent offense has been held scoreless all season and the Lynx third conference shut out of the season. Rhodes (13-1, 6-0 SCAC) faces off against Sewanee Sunday at noon.
