After 110 minutes of scoreless soccer, the Lynx and the Majors ended in a tie.  Both teams struggled to find quality chances throughout the game. 

Millsaps had their best opportunity midway through the 2nd half.  A quick interchange of passes in the Rhodes penalty box, ended with the Major's shot coming off the near post.  The Lynx would have a good opportunity in the 2nd half as well.  Freshmen Betsy Peterson's (Knoxville, TN) header was saved off the line by Sarah Nelin. 

The overtime periods would prove to more of the same, with both teams only registering 1 shot each.

Senior Becca Clarin (Clarendon Hills, IL) made 8 saves for the Lynx, while Nelin made 4 saves for the Majors.

The Lynx will return to SCAC play in two weeks when they host Centre College on Oct. 9th.
