Libby Jones, a sophomore forward from Prairie Village, Kansas (Pembroke Hill), earned SCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career. She was also the first Lynx to earn POTW accolades this season. Libby scored the Lynx game winning goal, the first game winner of her career, in Rhodes' 3-0 shutout victory over Hendrix. Jones scored with just 7 minutes remaining on a pass from
Lindsey Gurkovich to send the Lynx into the half time huddle one up on the Warriors. Libby tallied 7 of the team's 16 shots on the day and has been integral in the team's attack this season. She is a primary player on penalty corners, and tallied two assists in that fashion last week against Wooster. Two games into the season Libby is second on the team in points with 4. The Lynx look to Jones to be a big factor off the offensive end this fall.
