Hardin-Simmons University proved to be too much for the Lynx in the final game of the ASC-SCAC Challenge in Abilene, TX.  On a cold wet day in West Texas, HSU defeated the Lynx 3-0.  

HSU would score their first goal in the 42nd minute, when Erin Low assisted Austin Ricker inside the 18 yard box.  

The Lynx would come out after the half time break with several good chances, but were unable to beat Christi Carr in the HSU goal.  Katie Kuykendall would score the 2nd goal for HSU in the 55th minute on an assist from Carlyn Powers.  Hardin-Simmons would add the final goal in the 89th minute.  Austin Ricker would score her second goal of the game from an assist by Chelsea Flores.

HSU led in shots and corners 22-2 and 5-2 respectively.

Senior Becca Clarin made 10 saves for the Lynx.

Rhodes will open up SCAC play next when they travel to Hendrix College.
