The Rhodes College Men's Soccer program would like to recognize five young men who have spent four years playing soccer here at Rhodes and are preparing to embark on life after college. 

A midfielder from Dyersburg, TN, #12 Zac Berry: 

Zac will graduate from Rhodes in May with a degree in Biology. In the summer of 2008, Zac participated in the British Studies program at Oxford University. He is a member of Beta Beta Beta Biology Society, Health Professions Society, FCA, and the Men's A Cappella Chorus. Zac is also involved in Kappa Sigma Fraternity, serving on the Conduct Review Board and as House Chairman, and serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Various honors and awards Zac has received include the Kappa Sigma Scholars Award, SCAC Honor Roll, and Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of August, 2008. Throughout his career at Rhodes, Zac has played in 66 games, starting 51 of them, scoring 17 goals and 8 assists for a total of 42 points, and he was a captain on the 2008 squad last year. After graduation, Zac plans on attending dental school in the Fall. 

A midfielder from Henderson, KY, #14 Matt Childs: 
Matt Childs

Matt will graduate from Rhodes in May with a degree in Business and Economics. Throughout his soccer career here, Matt has played in 44 games, starting 5 of them. After graduation, Matt hopes to be involved with investment banking and private equity. 

A forward from Somerset, KY, #10 Logan Eberly: 
Logan Eberly

Logan will graduate from Rhodes in May with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Spanish. He is a member of the Rhodes College Health Professions Society and is regularly rewarded by being named to the SCAC NCAA Honor Roll. In addition, Logan is a two-time member of the All-SCAC team, earned ESPN The Magazine's Academic All-District honors in 2008, and was named to the National Team of the Week by d3kicks.com in October of 2006. In his four years on the team, Logan has played in 67 games, starting 57 of them. He has scored 37 goals and tallied 10 assists for a total of 80 points. After graduation, Logan will be attending medical school in the Fall. 

A forward from New Orleans, LA, #8 Allen Orgeron: 
Allen Orgeron

Allen will graduate from Rhodes in May with a degree in Business and Economics. He is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and in his four years of playing soccer here, he has played in a total of 53 games, starting 35 of them. Allen has scored 7 goals in his career and has tallied 11 assists for a total of 25 points. 

A defender from Plano, TX, #3 Richard Sewell: 
Richard Sewell

Richard will graduate from Rhodes in May with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. During his four years, he has been named to both Dean's List and the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. He is also a Kappa Sigma Scholar and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma (the National College Athlete Honor Society) and the Financial Management Association Honor Society. Positions he has held include Vice President of the Financial Management Association, Elections Commissioner of Rhodes Student Government, Director of Fundraising and Senior Class Gift Coordinator for the 2010 Class Council, and Alumni Development Chair, Philanthropy Chair, and Conduct Review Board for Kappa Sigma Fraternity. While at Rhodes, Richard has played in 61 games, starting 48 of them, and has scored 2 goals and 3 assists for a total of 6 points. 

These young men have dedicated four years to the program, and we are extremely grateful for the time, effort, and sacrifices they've made. We wish them the very best of luck in whatever it is they may be doing after Rhodes College.
