The Rhodes Volleyball team defeated Oglethorpe University and Hendrix College to finish 3-1 at this weekend's SCAC Central-East Divisional hosted by Centre College.

The Lynx defeated Oglethorpe in three straight sets by the scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-18.  Senior Outside Hitter Kelsea Everett led the team with 10 kills while Senior Middle Blocker Maura Mohler anchored the team's defense with 4 blocks.

Against Hendrix the Lynx were victorious in a five set thriller by scores of 14-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-27, 15-12.  Senior Setter Laura Jensen led the team with another triple double, her fifth of the season.  Jensen had 37 assists, 10 kills and 11 digs on the match.  Middle Blocker Maura Mohler led the team with 11 kills.  Both Mohler and Middle Blocker Phylicia Douglas combined for 8 of the team's 13 blocks in the match.
