The Rhodes Volleyball team finished 2-1 on Day 2 of their Fall Break Classic.  The team defeated Trasylvania University and Rust College while dropping a tough five set battle to Averett University.  The Lynx finish with an overall 3-2 record on the weekend.

In the team's first match of the day, the Lynx defeated Transy in three sets by the scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.  Senior Middlel Blocker Maura Mohler led the team with 8 kills, hitting .471 for the match while adding two blocks.  Outside Hitter Claire Warren anchored the team's defense with 27 digs.

Rhodes dropped a tough five set battle to the Cougars of Averett University by the scores of 25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 13-25, 12-15.  Freshman Outside Hitter Jordan Kennamer led the Lynx with 7 kills, while Freshman Setter Nicole McAlvany added 18 assists and 4 service aces.

In the team's final match of the day, the Lynx were victorious against Rust College by the scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.  Freshman Outside Hitter Megan Mansfield led the team with 9 kills while Freshman Defensive Specialist Hayley Benton had 5 service aces for the Lynx.
