On senior day at Rhodes the Women's soccer team got two goals from senior Diana Buss and one from senior Jessie Cassidy to wrap up sole possession of the SCAC Championship title with a 3-1 win over Millsaps College. The Lynx have earned the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament and will find out on Monday, November 10 when and where they will compete for a national title.

The Lynx jumped on the Major's early when senior forward Jessie Cassidy scored just 24 seconds into the game, senior midfielder Kara Purdy was credited with the assist. Millsaps scored in the 29th minute to level the score but before the half senior midfielder Diana Buss would strike twice, the second coming from twin sister Molly Buss' assist, to give Rhodes the lead they would need to wrap up their first SCAC Title since 1991.
