Breanna Stalsitz began her role as the Director of Athletic Media Relations at Rhodes College in the fall of 2023. She oversees all facets of athletics communications, including social media management, streaming services, and the operation of RhodesLynx.com. In addition, she serves as a key liaison for Southern Athletic Association (SAA) and NCAA coordination. Stalsitz is also the Rhodes Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor.
Stalsitz is an active member of the College Sports Communicators organization, where she contributes to the mentorship committee by pairing mentors with mentees and also serves as a mentor herself, fostering the next generation of professionals in the field.
Before joining Rhodes College, Stalsitz was the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Angelo State University. While at ASU, she served as the primary media contact for Women’s Tennis and Women’s Basketball and supported Baseball during their 2023 NCAA Championship season. Her responsibilities extended to serving as the main statistician for most sports, including Volleyball and Men’s Basketball, and coordinating athletic photography and social media strategy.
Stalsitz’s career began as an undergraduate at Clarion University, where she worked as a student assistant under Sports Information Director Sean Fagan. At Clarion, she gained hands-on experience as a statistician for Basketball and Volleyball, the department's lead photographer, and an assistant for game operations, tournaments, and football events. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, concentrating in Public Relations, with a minor in Sports Media.
