Carlos Ocasio is in his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Rhodes College. He is the primary athletic trainer for Field Hockey, Swimming and Diving, and Women’s Lacrosse. He is also an assistant athletic trainer for Track and Field.

Carlos started his professional career working as a Certified Intern Athletic Trainer at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. During his time at Radford, Carlos was the primary athletic trainer for Women’s Lacrosse, and assisted with coverage for Men’s Soccer as necessary. Prior to Radford, Carlos graduated from SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY where he obtained his B.S. in Athletic Training. During his time as a student at Cortland, Carlos went through clinical rotations with Cortland’s Track and Field team; Homer High School; Cortland’s Women’s Lacrosse Team; and a rotation providing care for several Cortland teams including Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Gymnastics, and out of season teams.

Outside of Rhodes, Carlos enjoys hiking, hanging out with friends, and going on road trips.
