Peyton Glover, a Georgia native, enters her first season at Rhodes College as the softball program’s top assistant. Glover’s primary responsibilities revolve around her mentoring and developing the Lynx pitching staff, as well as the outfield. In addition, Glover will assist recruiting, academic monitoring and other duties as assigned by head coach Luke Wagner.
A recent graduate of NCAA Division I Troy University (Troy, Ala.), Glover excelled in the circle for the Trojans. In her four year career, the hurler appeared in just over 90 games, logging an impressive 289 innings of work. In 2018, Glover experienced her finest season leading her staff in three different pitching categories: total appearances, innings pitched, and saves. In Sun Belt conference play, Glover was particularly effective, recording a sub 3.00 ERA (2.83) for the season and earning an All-Tournament team selection.
After graduating from Troy in 2019 with a degree in Psychology and Sports Management, Glover enrolled at the University of Washington pursuing a master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership and Sports Administration. While in the Pacific Northwest, Glover also spent time working as an intern at Seattle University in Game and Event Operations.
