Michael Sheppard enters his first year as they assistant coach of the Rhodes College swimming and diving team.
Sheppard currently serves as the swim coach for the Tucson Ford Aquatics for the last three seasons, coaching all ages from 6 years old all the way to 18+. He also served as the facilities attendant at the University of Arizona.
A native of Eads, Tenn., just outside of the Memphis area, Sheppard was an All-American in the 200 back and was part of three top four finishes for the Wildcats at the NCAA Championship. Sheppard was an A-finalist in the 200 back at the 2011 Summer Nationals and swam in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.
