Welcome to Rhodes College Softball Prospective Student Athlete Recruitment!

Why Rhodes College?

Rhodes is a national, residential college committed to the liberal arts and sciences, where intellectual curiosity, service to others, and honor among ourselves are our highest priorities. Rhodes students compare favorably to the best students in the country on all academic measures, are nationally recognized for their service to the Memphis community, and maintain an honor code that governs our academic and social life on campus.

With approximately 1800 students coming from all over the nation, few colleges can boast Rhodes' level of academic rigor, geographic and ethnic diversity. Classes are small, averaging thirteen students per professor. Three quarter of our students come from out-of-state and 20% of our students come from minority backgrounds. Rhodes reflects high academic expectations and the diversity of this nation.

We live this life on one of the country's most beautiful and historic campuses in Memphis, the 19th largest city in the country. Memphis is an intellectual, economic, political and cultural center in this part of the United States making Rhodes one of the very few top-tier liberal arts colleges in a major city. Our location makes it possible for our students to actively engage our community as a laboratory for learning and service through our partnerships with St. Jude, Fed Ex, the City of Memphis, and the Memphis Zoo.
