While the Lynx top 7 runners stayed in Memphis to train, the team's other harriers traveled to Versailles, Kentucky, to compete in the Southeastern Classic. The challenging hilly and wet course made most runners' personal best times out of reach, but the small group represented Rhodes well, combining to take 11th place of 19 teams at the meet and put 3 of their 6 runners in the top half of the competitive field. Freshman Jaala Spencer led the Lynx for the first time all season, placing 61st of 193 runners in 21:12, just 13 seconds shy of her personal best. Kristin Campbell continued her strong senior season, finishing 71st in 21:24, just 8 seconds behind her personal best. Susannah Schwartz was next for the team, placing 86th in 22:08. Rachel Simpson ran her best race of the season, placing 97th overall in 22:24. Jessye Bobinis and Sara LaPlante were the final finishers for Rhodes, placing 100th in 22:29 and 125th in 23:12, respectively.
