Meet Recap: Double Dual 

The Rhodes College men's swimming team delivered a strong performance on October 10, 2026, at the Millsaps, Berry and Meridian Community College meet, earning victories over all three opponents. The Lynx defeated Millsaps 222-17, Meridian Community College 222-21 and Berry 169.5-92.5, showcasing their depth across individual events and relays.

Key Performances

Will Wertenberger led the way with victories in the 100-yard freestyle (46.15), 200-yard freestyle (1:44.27) and 500-yard freestyle (4:53.80). Josh Denckhoff won the 200-yard backstroke in 1:56.24 and the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.50, while Clinton Eales claimed first in both the 100-yard breaststroke (58.83) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.01). Liam Ashton won the 100-yard butterfly in 50.68.

Meet Highlights

Rhodes opened the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay, finishing in 1:34.66. The Lynx also captured the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:09.56, with Cameron Roark, Eales, Ashton and Wertenberger combining for the victory. Austin Shadinger won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:11.65, while Roark took first in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:59.65.
