The Southern Athletics association has also named 940 student-athletes to the conference's Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 semester, announced Commissioner Stacey LaDew. With 139 of them being Rhodes students-athletes.

To qualify, student-athletes from the SAA's membership must have posted a minimum GPA of 3.25 for the semester and been a member of a conference-sponsored varsity sport. The Fall 2023 Honor Roll includes the sports of: men's cross country, women's cross country, football, field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball.
