Today, the Lynx Cross Country team competed at the Watson College Classic in Clinton, MS. The team got a chance to race on teh Choctaw Trails, which is where the DIII Regionals will be hosted later this season. The Men's 8K race began at 8am and the Women's followed with a 6K at 8:45. 

The top finishers for today's Men's race were Austin Rhea, Daniel Blaich, and Diego Donald. Rhea finished with a time of 25:46.50 and came through in the 18th position overall. Daniel Blaich came in at 26:05.60 and Diego Donald just behind him at 26:28.10.  The Men's team finished 8th overall.

The Women had a strong competition day with the top five finishers for the Lynx in the top 35 overall. Elena Gentry finished for the Lynx at a time of 22:43.50 and finished 2nd overall in the race. Sienna Collier and Hannah Jane Miller followed finishing in 20th and 21st overall. Collier's time was 24:03.86 and Miller finished at 24:06.26. The Lynx Women's team finished 2nd overall in the competition. 

The Lynx will continue to prepare for the Southern Athletic Association Championship which will be hosted on Lynx home course at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN on November 2nd.
